According to the Georgia State Patrol, the collision occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, near the split where Interstate 24 westbound connects with Interstate 59 southbound. Preliminary findings indicate that a red or brown sedan struck the right side of a motorcycle being operated by 35-year-old Nicholas Daley of Murfreesboro.
