A graduate of Mendham High School and the Artistic Academy for Hair, he quickly established himself as a talented hairstylist, earning admiration from clients and colleagues across New York and New Jersey. Among his proudest professional achievements was styling for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris, an opportunity that reflected both his skill and his commitment to excellence. Yet for Billy, career milestones were always matched by the joy he found in his personal connections and community.
Family was at the center of his life. Billy treasured moments spent with his mother Diane, father William, sister Maria and her husband Ben, brother Anthony and his fiancée Alessandra, and his extended family across New York and New Jersey. He cherished holidays, birthdays, and casual gatherings, where his energy and humor could transform any moment into a memory to be treasured. Summers at the Jersey Shore, from Manasquan to Mantoloking and the family beach house on Chadwick Beach Island, were highlights of his life, filled with laughter, friendship, and the joy of shared experiences.
Billy’s friends and family remember him as a loyal, compassionate, and playful spirit who could lift spirits in an instant. His generosity, unwavering support, and ability to listen and stand beside loved ones through life’s challenges created a legacy of love and connection that will endure far beyond his years.
A visitation to celebrate Billy’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at William J. Leber Funeral Home in Chester, New Jersey, followed by private funeral services and interment with his immediate family.
Though Billy Del Russo’s life was tragically short, his laughter, kindness, and joy will remain with those who loved him. He will be forever cherished, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
